The importance of third-party accreditation on cables is crucial to installations that would traditionally use 6242Y twin and earth cable, which is why Earthsure® is BASEC approved. After a significant amount of research and development, and the creation of EarthTek compounds, Earthsure will fit inside standard cable clips, whilst meeting the same mechanical and electrical requirements of BS6004 (the equivalent 6242Y cable standard).
Manufactured to BASEC Certificate of Assessed Design 052.
Plain annealed copper conductor / PVC insulated / PVC sheathed with pre-identified G/Y circuit protective conductor. 300/500V.
