The Dewalt DCMPS520N 18V XR Brushless 20cm Pruning Saw from ITS personifies the saying that ‘all good things, come in small packages’.

And powerful too for that matter as well.  The DCMPS520 perfectly balances size and function together to produce professional, quality cutting results.

The 20cm / 8” bar is ideal for pruning both at home or of landscaping jobs.  Thanks to the brushless motor, the chain speed is an impressive 8.6m/s and will easily deal with branches up to 15cm / 6” thick.

The pruning saw includes and automatic oiler facility that keeps the saw chain lubricated when in use; extending the life of both tool and chain.  It will also prevent debris build up and keep the chain moving.

At the front of the chain bar is a metal pruning tip that mitigates kickback risk and increases control of the saw.  The two handed grip with hand guard ensures precision control for delicate landscaping jobs, the lock-off function prevents accidental start up while remaining intuitive to activate tool.

Preferred by professional landscapers and gardeners alike, the saw incorporates Bolt Lock Chain Tensioning for expert control.

    Very useful saw

    Light enough to use one-handed and cuts well on thicker material. (It’s not really for striping twigs off the side of branches when on the floor, it's for cutting branches). Although the chain guard seems like it would be a hindrance, it is very useful for stopping ground strikes, or catching other branches when in bushes. The safety catch is a bit awkward sometimes at certain angles, but it is there for the reason of stopping us from doing stupid things with a powerful saw that we might hurt ourselves doing :-) Overall I love this little saw and would recommend it if you need to use it more than a couple of times a year.
