Dewalt DCMPP568N-XJ 18V XR Powered Pruner - Body

I was dubious about this tool as it looked like a bit of novelty item, but as I have a lot of clearing and pruning to do I eventually decided to take the plunge. It is a monster and I have no idea how I managed without it. It happily slices through surprisingly thick branches (up to 20mm is a breeze) and has largely replaced both my pruning shears and my loppers with triple the work rate and 90% less effort. It can get tiring working at head height with a 5ah battery but I've found that it uses so little juice that the 2ah keeps it going for a couple of hours and makes it much more wieldy. This is a great complement to the hedge trimmer and chainsaw for jungle taming duties so if you're invested in the DeWalt battery system I can thoroughly recommend it.

With the sunshine coming, the garden needed a little tidying up, which is my Wife’s passion. With pruning of the shrubs a priority - it was obvious that a better way of pruning was needed! These electric pruners were idea for her to tackle our garden shrubs with ease. The use of the chargeable battery was ideal and is easy to use and change.

Bought for the wife and she likes it so worth getting to have a peaceful life!

Very well designed. Smooth action. I will be using it loads as I do a lot of hedge cutting and pruning. Most excellent Dewalt build quality as you would expect. Highly recommend if you are looking for power pruners.

I bought this thinking it can’t be that good? Well it was, it saves fatigue when pruning and works from a standard XR batteries! The total shocker it was nearly £25 cheap on ITS.Co.U.K. Than anywhere else
