Honest, fair review!
First off, it comes packaged nice. The door sensors are quite solid and bulky, better to use a screwdriver to open as plastic tabs may break. I wanted to pair 1 remote for all 3 and it was quite easy to do via YouTube (you will need this) the leaflet that comes is not too clear. The alarm siren isn’t loud but more of a deterrent, if they want to break in they would just remove the sensors. The tracker/sensor was what I really wanted, this was easy to set up. Make sure you fully charge the unit before installing somewhere discreet (turn the beep off) one installed any vibrating or noise and it can call or text your mobile. However the pitfalls - the door sensors when in alarm will not set off the tracker/sensor for unknown reasons, they also do not pair with the tracker. The app for the tracker is frustrating there is no clear arm/disarm button, every time you want to arm you have to go into the app as well as disarm - if you don’t disarm and drive away the motion of the van the tracker will constantly ring and text you. When the van is parked any truck - boy racer car - motorbike will set off the vibration alarm and you will start to get texts and phone calls. My van was parked in a car park and I was away for 30 minutes and I got over 15 calls and texts for ‘noise ‘ alerts. Please don’t rely on this tracker in dead spots it won’t work also if your phone is in a dead spot they both need reception to work. I fitted my van with the extra sirens that’s very loud and the tracker will not pick up on the alarm and send you a signal but whisper by the van and you get a text and phone call. I must mention when you get a phone call you can listen in inside the van to see why your alarm is ringing you so you can judge the alarm. I have to move my tracker/sensor, as it’s too sensitive - you will probably move it a few times before you are happy. Overall this is more of a deterrent than actually peace of mind.
