The Megger VF5 Voltage Detector has been designed to safely check for the presence of AC voltages.
With both low voltage (12v-1000v) and medium voltage (100v-1000v) ranges the non contact VF5 includes a bright LED torch for poor light conditions.
The Megger VF5 is suitable for an array of tasks:
Identifying live conductors
Detecting AC voltage at socket outlets
Finding a break in a conductor
Verifying a blown fuse while in circuit
Indicating AC voltage at switches, circuits breakers, fuses, cables & luminaries
Providing both visual and audible cues, the Megger VF5 utilises a bright red LED fixed within the white nylon tip in addition to a built-in vibration alert feature and audible sounder. The durable rubber over-moulded body of the Megger VF5 is rated IP67 for increased user safety.
