The Makita UR003G 40V MAX XGT Brushless Line Trimmer from ITS is a versatile and powerful tool for your garden.
The XGT range of tools and batteries come with a built-in programme that provides digital communication between the battery and the tool. Revolutionary technology ensures that the battery and the tool's motor technology work together for optimum performance. This means that not only can the XGT range of products easily take on the tasks of now, but they are also ready to adapt to the jobs of the future.
The UR003GZ will shut down automatically if the rotation speed suddenly stops, such as it hitting a rock or brick, so that the trimmer stays in good operational condition. With that, it also includes Automatic Torque Drive technology which automatically changes the speed of the cutter subject to the load condition to ensure optimal operation.
With three speed options, the trimmer includes an electric brake and includes a reverse switch for the easy removal of any stuck grass clippings.
With a soft start, the trimmer has a constant speed control, and has a large loop handle with rubberised soft grip making it comfortable to use over longer periods. The trimmer has a smaller protector to allow you to see the cutting area better along with IPX4 water resistancy.

MAKITA AFT
Makita's AFT is a Smart function to minimise the effect of kick-back. AFT will Shut down the tool, if the rotation speed suddenly slows down (e.g., kick-back). Active Feedback sensing Technology uses an on-board accelerometer to measure rotation and electronically turns off the motor if rotation is suddenly forced to stop. In addition, the torque limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging the gears.
MAKITA ADT
Makita's ADT (Automatic torque Drive Technology) adjusts both the speed and torque of the tool for optimal pressure, even for the most demanding applications. During operation, if the tool is put under heavy load, Makita ADT Technology detects the added demand and applies more torque and speed to finish the job. This means that you're not ALWAYS using the tool to its maximum abilities - you only do that when it NEEDS it. This is help your tools last longer per charge and increase it's overall lifetime.
