The Trend T14EK 2300W 1/2" Variable Speed Workshop Router from ITS is one of the most popular and powerful plunge routers on the market at the moment.

Perfect for hand-held and Router Table use, this high performance plunge router, with advanced safety features has been engineered to deliver fast, accurate, reliable cuts.

With a 2300W motor, constant speed control that delivers consistent high power, high torque and speed, soft-start to prevent kick back and an 80mm plunge depth, the T14EK is perfect for deep cutting jobs such as lock fitting, worktop joints and timber profiling.

The phosphor bronze bushings are corrosion resistant, durable and self-lubricating to prevent racking and deliver a smooth, accurate plunge action.  The Anti-restart system prevents the unexpected start up of the router if the trigger lock-on switch is engaged and the power supply has been interrupted.  To restart the router, the lock-on switch must be disengaged before you can power up.

When converted to a table router, the supplied router table power take-off switch can be connected to a port within the handle.  This allows easier operation without having to dig under a table to reach it.  This would be incredibly dangerous and due to the Automatic power shut off feature, which would prevent a typical NVR (No Volt Release) switch from being used.

Uniquely, the T14EK has a height adjuster that can be used from above AND below the router whether in table or hand-held mode.  In table mode, it can be conveniently positioned above the guide fence. Each 360° turn gives 1.0mm of vertical movement.

The precision centring system contains a unique guide bush centring pin and adaptor plate ensures perfect concentricity between cutter and guide bush for pinpoint accuracy with routing jigs.  The Variable speed control dial features 7 increments ranging from 9,000rpm to 22,000rpm, which gives the user total control across a wider range of cutter styles, cutter sizes, materials, and applications.

For convenience and safety, the Trend T14 Router ensures clean working with the Top-Mount Cyclone Extraction which gives users perfect visibility of the work piece and prevents extraction hoses from ‘snagging’ on jigs and materials as the extraction connection point is conveniently mounted at the top of the router.

Two, flicker-free LEDs improve safety and accuracy in low-light situations where work lighting is poor or the use of a jig is casting shadows.  The improved visibility allows users to accurately position the cutter prior to engaging the material and making costly errors.
