After doing a bit of research for a really tough take this came out on top for a couple of comparison sites- went ahead and ordered - seems good at first and meets all its description but the tape itself is flimsy ?‍♂️ armour guard or protection is just some plastic stuck on the first section but only on the top - the bottom is exposed and I’m after measuring five times on some MDF skirting it was already kinked. ITS were brilliant as always and have replaced it FOC and fast- so I’ll give it another try but not hopeful

The second best tape measure in existence. The best one would be the same one generation 2, but in metric only available in Australia in New Zealand, so No. 1 tape in UK. The diamond grit on the blade makes it grip to anything, so you can measure steel containers with round edges etc. easily by yourself without walking as it stands out 4m effectively, very durable and just looks so cool.

I’ve tried so many heavy duty tapes and they still haven’t lasted long for nearly £30 a tape measure. This tape is strong and high quality. The measurements are easy to read and they’re on both sides of the tape which makes measuring so much easier especially in tight spaces. I think this is finally the tape I’ve been looking for

bought this tape as my 5m wasn't really suitable for 1st fix joinery. Its a great tape. very well made 7 very sturdy. My only concern would be the blade is quite thin so could kink easily or it maybe is made of better stuff than a Stanley so doesn't need to be as thick. time will tell

Excellent tape measure quality when measuring long distance solo without tape snapping on you it's a big yes from me ! Who'd of though a tape measure can bring so much joy ?

More expensive than your average tape measure but you get what you pay for.
