The Hitachi KTL218S 18V Lithium-ion cordless twinpack, including the DV18DSL hammer drill/driver and the WH18DSL/L4 impact driver combines value and versatility in a great package.

The DV18DSL hammer drill/driver achieves a high max torque of 45Nm with 22 position torque settings for a diverse range of applications, offering fast hammer drilling into masonry, bricks or tiles up to 19,600 beats per minute.

It is equipped with electric feedback and brake for improved efficiency and added safety, 2 speed/variable speed gearbox including reverse action, 13mm single sleeve keyless chuck for easy bit changes, a ratcheting lock mechanism prevents the bit loosening during use, drilling up to 13mm into masonry, 13mm into metal and 36mm into wood making it ideal for use in a variety of materials.

It features a push button forward/reverse switch positioned close to the trigger for quick convenient direction change, 3 mode settings drilling, impact drilling and driving, the power save mode for lighter work helps increase battery run time, the compact and lightweight 1.8kg design together with the ultra slim soft grip handle ensures a comfortable and secure grip at all times, providing extra comfort reducing user fatigue, an integrated LED job light for use in low visibility applications illuminates the workspace.

It is equipped with a variable speed trigger ensuring a high level of control at all speeds, reverse mode can be easily selected using the thumb switch positioned next to the trigger for ease of use. The torque is maintained even in reverse making unfastening as simple as fastening, external brush caps make replacement of carbon brushes quick and easy.
