Impax IM2800IFG Generator

One word - WOW…..!!!!! What a cracking piece of kit. But firstly, cannot fault ITS - I ordered this at 7:45pm on a Tuesday, and it arrived by courier the next morning at 11:30am - brilliant….!!! Well packaged and on unpacking it was clear this was a well made and well finished piece of kit. Followed the comprehensive and clear instruction manual (written in ENGLISH….!!!), filled it with oil and fuel and we were ready to go. As outlined in the manual, 2-3 light pulls followed by 1 sharp pull and she burst into life - quiet (even quieter in ‘Eco’ mode), smooth and sturdy. I wanted this for a party in one of our fields a few days later - again it started - this time on the first pull. It was to provide power for two singers using two large speakers, two microphones, a mixing deck and an iPad for backing tracks and a few strings of lights etc. Before and after it was used to power a very large speaker to play music - all in it was running for 7hrs, never missed a beat and barely used half a tank of fuel, and we never heard it all night. Would definitely recommended and will definitely be using ITS in the future. At this price for this output and quality it’s an absolute bargain.

Good for the job

I was looking for a generator to charge up tool batteries, phone, laptop etc. whilst working off grid. Also wanted something strong enough to run angle grinder, chop saw etc. Went for this model as it has a max power of 3000 watt which did the job. Was impressed by how quiet this genny was compared to a regular frame machine. It's heavier than a normal generator but easy enough to lug around.
