The Footprint African Rosewood carpenters square is built to last a long time.
The Rosewood stock is attached to the tempered steel blade by three hard wearing brass rivets.
The bevel is fitted with a thick brass plate, this brass plate protects the rosewood from the bumps and scrapes of daily life on site and maintins the accuracy of the square.
The steel blade has been tempered, accurately cut and then chemically blued. This maintains the stregth of the blade as well as protecting it from corrosion.
