AFFF Foam Fire Extinguishers are amongst the most popular due to their ability to provide a fast and effective way of tackling fires involving flammable liquids. The aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) forms a seal over the surface to prevent re-ignition.

AFFF foam is best suited for class B fires (petrol, oil and paint) and class A fires (paper, textiles and wood etc). All FireGuard fire extinguishers are Kitemarked to BS EN3, CE Marked and carry a 5 year manufacturer's warranty.

1 Litre capacity fire extinguisher with 5A/21B fire rating, 12 Bar working pressure, 10 second discharge duration with a 4m range of throw, 0°C To +60°C operating temperature range.

Manufactured from steel and brass giving high strength with a corrosion resistant finish & Polyethylene internal lining to safeguard against corrosion, comes complete with wall mounting brackets so you can attach it to the wall away from potential damage, very easy to use with squeeze grip operation. There is an easy to read pressure gauge on the extinguisher and it comes already filled and pressurised.

In compliance with BS EN3 guidelines, products supplied consist of the recognisable red body as well as an identifiable band of a secondary colour. In the case of foam extinguishers, there is a cream band applied to each canister.
