Makita DRT50 18v Cordless Brushless Router/Trimmer LXT is a welcome addition to the 18v LXT range, for cord-free routing & trimming.

Powerful brushless motor produces a max 10000-30000rpm no load speed, 6mm & 8mm (1/4") collect capacity, 0.40mm plunge capacity with trimmer base and 0-35mm plunge capacity with plunge base.

Featuring soft start, variable speed dial, constant speed control, LED job light for illuminating the workpiece in low light applcations, push button swith with lock on/off for ease of use & shaft lock.

Trimmer round base for smooth and fast cutting and easy handling with a non-slip elastomer body grip for increased comfort. Enlarged opening sectoin of base assembly for excellent bit visibility while maintaining durability. Precision cutting depth adjustment, simple and efficient base lock system, replaceable non-marking plastic base plate for protection of trimmer base and smooth sliding on work surfaces.

Plunge base with 0-35mm plunge capacity, 3 stage precision cutting depth adjustment, easy-to-operate lock lever, ergonomically contoured knob style handles with rubberised soft grip for increased comfort and easy handling, replaceable non-marking plastic base plate for protection of the plunge base and smooth sliding on work surfaces.

Offset base able to trim close to the wall and tight corners with a bit set in offset position 18.5mm at closest, non-slip elastomer covered body grip for inceased comfort, simple and efficient base lock system, replaceable non-marking pastic base plate for protection of trimmer base and smooth sliding on work surfaces.

The DRT50 is connectable to a dust extractor via the trimmer base dust nozzle for dust-free working.
