The robust steel cutting deck measures 53cm wide, enabling users to cover larger areas more quickly while delivering the strength and durability needed for regular professional use. Ten centrally adjusted cutting height settings ranging from 20mm to 100mm provide outstanding flexibility for maintaining everything from ornamental lawns to longer grass areas.
A single lever controls all cutting height adjustments, making it quick and easy to adapt to changing ground conditions and seasonal growth.
Designed for versatility, the DLM532 offers four mowing functions including collection, mulching, side discharge and rear discharge. The large 70-litre grass collection box reduces the need for frequent emptying, helping users work more efficiently across larger areas.
When fitted with the mulching plug, grass clippings are finely cut and returned to the lawn, helping improve soil nutrients and reduce green waste. A fan-assisted airflow system also helps maximise collection efficiency by directing clippings neatly into the collection box.
The self-propelled drive system allows users to maintain a comfortable working pace with adjustable travel speeds between 2.5km/h and 5.0km/h. Large 230mm diameter wheels with built-in ball bearings improve manoeuvrability and traction across uneven terrain, while the mower's durable construction helps maintain performance on challenging surfaces.
For quieter operation, Makita's low-noise mode reduces blade speed without compromising cutting quality, making it ideal for use in residential areas or noise-sensitive environments.
Additional premium features include IPX4-rated showerproof protection, soft-start technology, constant speed control and Makita's Soft No Load function, which automatically reduces motor speed when the mower is not actively cutting to minimise vibration and conserve battery power.
A built-in battery protection system guards against overloading, overheating and over-discharging, helping maximise both tool and battery lifespan.
