The Makita DG001G 40V Max XGT Brushless Earth Auger is an incredibly powerful device that is ideal for landscapers, fencing and agricultural contractors.
Perfect for drilling in the earth, this device delivers variable speed control with 2 speed options. The soft start ensures that you can keep control as you increase the speed, while auger also features an electric brake.
With a torque range up to 136NM, this ‘earth drill’ has a maximum drilling capacity of up to 200mm (150mm in high resistance soil), with a no load speed for up to 1500rpm.
The Auger also incorporates Makita’s Automatic Torque Drive Technology which will change the speed of the drill according to the load condition. This delivers premium performance. It also includes an automatic power-off function which ensures you have power available when you need it.
The earth auger includes a twin LED job light with both pre- and post-glow functions to ensure that you can keep going whatever the light conditions you’re working in.
The auger comes with a number of attachments to ensure flexibility – one is for the use of auger bits from other established brands, the other includes a bar which receives reaction force and an auxiliary handle which helps drill holes in the ground easier.
At the heart of this tool is a brushless motor that allows you to use the earth auger efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
