The Makita DDA460 36V (Twin 18V) LXT Brushless Angle Drill Driver from ITS is an incredibly powerful device powered by two 18V LXT batteries.
The drill driver has an impressive array of features to make it an awesome piece of equipment. Not only does this incorporate an electric brake, variable speed trigger control with two mechanical gears, but also includes Matika’s Automatic Torque Drive technology which changes the speed of the drill according to the load condition for optimal operation.
The drill also includes an auto power-off function which will shut down if the trigger is not activated after 5 minutes, thus conserving battery power for when you need it.
The drill includes dual rotation, soft start for better control, as well as a torque limiter. For working in all conditions, the drill features a bright LED job light so that you can clearly see what you’re working on.
Thanks to the brushless motor, the drill has the capacity of drilling in to wood up to 50mm with an auger bit, 159mm with a holesaw or 118mm with a self feed bit. Delivering up to 136Nm max torque, the drill also produces up to 1400rpm no load speed.
At the heart of this drill is the brushless motor that allows you to use the drill efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
