The Dewalt DCN682 18V XR Brushless Flooring Stapler from ITS is an 18 gauge stapler with a 12mm-38mm staple range.
Ideal for installing solid and engineered hardwood flooring, this impressive staple gun is surprisingly compact and lightweight which allows working over longer periods of time. A contact arm optimised for flooring, along with a tool-free adjustable base, help to drive fasteners accurately at the proper angle and depth.
This battery-run stapler offers complete portable and cordless freedom – no worrying about compressors, gases or hoses. Simply add your battery, staples and off you go.
The DCN682’s depth of drive is simply adjust by using the thumb wheel depth adjust while the sequential mode allows for precision placement. The bump operating mode provides the user with production speed of up to 4 staples per second.
The trigger and contact trip lock-off will help prevent any accidental discharge while the compact, lightweight design ensures comfortable use yet being durable enough to tackle the harsh environments of being on site. Should the DCN682 get jammed or stall, clearing it can be done without the need for any tools.

This is a specialist nailer used for fixing down hardwood floor planks. Flooring nailers are sometimes also referred to as either "Cleat Nailers", or "Secret Nailers" due to the fact that flooring nailers usually fire a "Cleat" style nail. They fire nails into the tongue of the plank at an angle which is then covered by the next plank to be fitted. These tools can sometimes fire staples which do the same job.
Flooring nailers offer huge time savings over traditional manual techniques and give the luxury of a totally invisible fixing. Flooring nailers operate at a set angle which ensures consistent fixing every single time.
Flooring nailers are now available in three main types: "Manual", which is a device to position the nail at the correct angle and in the correct place while you bash it with a mallet, "Pneumatic", which is basically an air-assisted version of the Manual nailer, and more recently "Cordless", which eliminates the use of a mallet or any form of manual striking altogether."
