This particular kit includes two DCB184LR Lanyard Ready Batteries: a pair of 5.0Ah 18V batteries with a lanyard attachment built in to it as part of the battery design. This delivers an increased level of ‘peace of mind’ when working at height.
Should the battery become detached from the tool, for whatever reason, it will only go as far as the lanyard is long. Keeping the battery attached to a lanyard prevents you having to stop work, climb down to retrieve it and then climb back up to work again.
This new technology will soon become mandatory while working at height on site
The Dewalt DCD796 18V XR Brushless Combi Drill is a high powered brushless combi drill that, despite its compact size, delivers premium power.
Designed for heavy duty use, at only 173mm long, this is perfect for working in confined spaces delivering up to 70Nm of torque. This, along with the brushless motor, allows it to drill up to 40mm in wood, and 13mm in metal/masonry.
