The Dewalt DCF899 18V XR Brushless 1/2" Hog-Ring Impact Wrench makes up another part of the impressive XR range of li-ion cordless tools from Dewalt.
It is a high torque impact wrench that makes the most of its impressive brushless motor enabling it to rival corded impact wrenches.
The DCF899 itself is a great performer delivering a whopping maximum 950Nm of torque, up to 1625Nm of ‘breakaway’ torque and 2400ipm. These, of course, can be adjusted to suit your job by using the 3 speed/torque controller found at the base of the handle, where you can also find the LED job light.
At the heart of this Impact wrench is a brushless motor that allows you to use the wrench efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance on the drill. The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
The ½” external square socket with HOG ring ensures quick change of the insertion tools and the rubber-coated ergonomic handle allows for a working comfort.
