The Dewalt DCF887 18V XR Brushless Impact Driver from ITS is a super lightweight and compact tool that is very comfortable to use and fits in small spaces
It is the first Dewalt impact driver to have a handy application control and gearbox which allows the user to choose the power of the torque they'd like depending on which material they're using as a workpiece.
The DCF887 can generate 3250rpm with an impact rate of 3800bpm, which are very impressive stats for a cordless 18V impact driver. It's been rated at a maximum of 205Nm of hard torque which is as equally impressive.
The impact driver features 3 motor speed and torque settings to suit the need of the job in hand. There is also a precision drive mode for precise control whilst avoiding damage to both material and screw.
A light ring of bright white LED’s improves visibility and function as a flashlight, helping to illuminate the workspace. Fast, one-handed fitment is also possible due to a ¼” “drop in” bit holder.
At the heart of this tools is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.

Great little impact
Great impact driver, enough power for everything that uses hex bits. Tried undoing wheels torqued to 180nm with an 1/2 adapter and the wheel nuts came off without any problem. Love the PrecisionMode on 1st setting, stops the driver from overtightening any screw or bolt.

Compact design to get in places a larger model would not, but also very powerful. Plus Dewalt quality.

Originally went into Walthamstow branch to pick this up and none in stock. Great service from store, offered to order for me I decided do it myself online. Ordered samedsy Fri PM with next working day delivery given as Monday, all good. Even better that it actually arrived Sat with free delivery. Not had chance to use just yet, product looks top quality and awesome service from ITS instore and online. Will buy from ITS again, once the DCD996P1 comes on sale as currently £129 at Toolstation but out of stock.
