A very helpful tool, I suffer from parkinsons disease but found this tool helps me with DIY jobs. I'm far from being a DIY expert but I don't let my disease define me. Well built impact driver, does just the job for me...

This impressive second generation impact driver has a smaller, more powerful brushless motor which is able to achieve better performance and better runtimes than either the previous brushless version or the old brushed models. It is also the first dewalt impact driver to have a handy application control and gearbox which allows the user to choose the power of the torque they'd like depending on which material they're using as a workpeice.
The highly efficient brushless motor is able to pack plenty of power into a very compact body. The DCF887 is able to generate about 3250rpm with an impact rate of 3800bpm, which are very impressive stats for a cordless 18v impact driver. Not only that but its the first Dewalt 18v Impact Driver to break to 200 barrier when it comes to torque. Its been rated at a maximum of 205Nm of hard torque which really is impressive and put other models to shame.
The Dewalt DCF887 is part of the XR 18v Lithium-ion range which means that it is compatible with all 18v Li-ion batteries, from 1.5Ah - 5.0Ah and all inbetween.
