The Dewalt DCF886D2 Brushless Impact Driver is part of the all new Dewalt XR Lithium-ion cordless range, which offers eXtreme run time, increased efficiency and improved performance.
By constantly monitoring tool and battery operation, the intelligent switch module maximises performance and prevents damage caused by overload or temperature build-up. This technology, combined with a tough outer casing and superb ergonomics means that XR Lithium-ion is truly "Tough on the outside & Intelligent on the inside".
The DCF886 impact driver is ultra compact with a lightweight design that makes it ideal for screwdriving in confined spaces. The brushless motor & all metal gearing provide improved runtime & durability with added efficiency and a longer tool life. Aluminium front housing provides greater heat dispersion increasing motor life. The 6.35mm 'drop-in' keyless hex driver allows for quick, one handed bit changing increasing productivity.
The DCF886D2 also features a bright LED light for improved visibility with delay feature and flashlight functionality.
Please note that the DCF886 uses the new Dewalt XR Lithium-ion Slide-on style batteries and is therefore not compatible with any older style fitting.
