Having a brushless motor makes the CB18DBL W4 one of the most lightweight and compact 18V bandsaws around. The motor doesn't have any carbon brushes in it, so energy from the battery is not wasted on generating unwanted heat or friction. As a result of this, we get more power out of our batteries, and also a vast increase in runtime and overall lifetime of the battery.
It is capable of cutting max. 83mm workpieces with a 900mm blade and 108mm saw wheels. The larger wheels improve the lifespan of the blade. The handle is positioned near the centre of gravity of the tool body and the weight distribution is well-balanced, with the battery positioned on one side of the tool body and the motor on the opposite side.
Dual mode settings: Standard Mode or AUTO Mode is selectable depending on the application:
The guide plate is adjustable from 20mm to 40mm and the saw is protected from power overload for you protection, along with a LED work light to improve visibility within darker areas.
