The Festool HKC 55 18V Brushless Circular Saw from ITS is an impressively versatile saw, capable for working at almost angle to produce both angled and guided cuts with precision.

With every cut, its versatility and flexibility are well demonstrated whether you're using it with the cross cutting guide, guide rails, working precise mitre cuts - this'll do it comfortably.

Working with the Festool 18V Battery range, and connectable to the cross cutting guide demonstrates its independence and mobility.  With the additional trimming rail, you can make smooth, fast and pin sharp accurate cuts.

With all its power, this saw is safe and reliable.  The Cutting depth adjustment with plunge function, pendulum hood remote control and guide wedge are testament to this flexibility.

With a range of lengths to choose from, the HKC 55 Saw can easily fit on the FSK guide rails which help in getting precise and accurate angled cuts.  With the depth adjustment, simply push the lever and set the desired cutting depth using the clearly visible and easy-to-read scale, then release – and you're done. When combined with the plunge cut function, you can also make plunge cuts to the preset cutting depth easily and conveniently.

The fixed positioning bolt and the adjustable stop allow angled cuts from –60° to +60° to be made and repeated exactly. For simple work, the most common angle settings are locked into place in the rail. To enable a clear view of the saw blade, the pendulum guard can be moved backwards from the front handle. This uncovers the saw blade and ensures your hands always remain at a safe distance from the saw blade.

When working with the HKC 55 in combination with the guide or cross-cutting guide rail, the scribe line will always follow the cutting edge exactly, even when mitre cutting up to 50°.

The saw can also be connected to a portable dust extractor.  When paired with a Bluetooth battery, it will automatically switch on an external mobile dust extractor.  This reduces any power wastage and ensures it keeps up with your work, as well as maintaining a clean and healthy working environment.

At the heart of this saw is the EC-TEC brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently.  As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
