This hinge is designed specifically for heavy duty fire doors and engineered to deliver smooth, long life performance with all the fire-rated credentials your project demands.

It features lubricated ball bearing washers, allowing consistently low friction and smooth opening/closing even under heavy use - ideal when paired with door closers. They are suitable for 30- and 60-minute fire doors of up to 120 kg in weight.

It matches architectural aesthetics better than plain steel in many door hardware schemes. The hinge’s dimensions are 101 mm by 76 mm with a thickness of 3 mm, giving a solid cross section to resist stress and deformation under load.

These hinges are CE-approved under BS EN 1935, tested for durability and rated for use in fire door assemblies. The hinge has been tested to 200,000 cycles, proving its suitability for frequent use in public environments.

The packaging includes fixings, so you don’t have to source hinge screws separately. One caveat: when installing in fire doors, you must also use intumescent hinge pads (not included) to maintain fire integrity.
