The STIHL KM 131 Petrol KombiEngine from ITS is the starting part of a garden tool system hat reduces the amount of space needed to home numerous tools – just one tool with different attachments.
The professional engine, with bike-style handle for premier control, especially when used in conjunction with a shoulder strap or harness. Simple to use, the KM 131 offers maximum versatility, powering several ground based attachments for property and garden maintenance.
You can always rely on STIHL to keep setting new benchmarks this time with 4-stroke mixed lubrication technology. The STIHL 4-MIX® engine, which runs on a fuel-oil mix just like a 2-stroke, offers the benefits without the compromises of 4-stroke power. STIHL 4-MIX engine technology provides fast acceleration, more power, added torque, lower noise, reduced emissions and increased fuel efficiency to complete jobs quickly, quietly and more easily.
The decompression valve allows some of the compression pressure in the cylinder to escape, so less force on the starter rope is needed. The manual fuel pump makes starting the tool easier. Pressing the pump ensures fewer strokes are required to start the tool as sufficient fuel is present within the carburettor. The easily accessible paper filter with a long service life means it can go for long intervals without changing. (similar to illustration)
All the engine controls can be controlled with just one hand featuring a stop switch which automatically reverts back to the start position for a quicker, simple restart.
