Powered by two 18V LXT Li ion batteries in series to deliver 36V output, this mower combines strong cutting performance with the convenience and reliability of Makita brushless motor technology.
The brushless motor provides efficient power delivery, reduced energy loss and longer service life while maintaining consistent blade speed under load for an even, professional finish.
Featuring a wide 46cm steel mowing deck, the DLM466 is ideal for covering larger lawn areas quickly, with an actual mowing capacity of up to 900m² when used with two 6.0Ah batteries.
The mower offers three cutting modes including mowing, grass collection and mulching, allowing you to tailor the finish to seasonal conditions and lawn preferences.
Ten centralised cutting height positions from 20mm to 75mm provide precise control over grass length, making it suitable for everything from short summer cuts to longer grass management.
An electronic two speed system allows selection between normal mode at 3300min-1 for maximum cutting performance or noise reduction mode at 2500min-1 for quieter operation in residential areas.
The large 60L grass collection box reduces emptying frequency, while the ergonomic soft grip handle with three height adjustment positions improves comfort and control during extended use.
Additional safety and control features include an electric brake for fast blade stopping and constant speed control to maintain performance when cutting thicker grass.
