The Makita B-64630 260mm x 30mm 45T Efficut Saw Blade from ITS has been designed to work with wood materials.
The 45tooth circular saw blade with extra thin kerf has been developed for cordless cross-cut saws. Cordless machines benefit from as little resistance as possible, because the less resistance, the less energy the machine requires from the battery. This means you can saw for longer on one full battery.
This Efficut tooth is based on the ATB alternate tooth and is only used on saw blades for wood. The teeth are sharp on one side and alternately placed (left sharp and right sharp) with a flat tooth (raker) after a number of teeth.
This provides more stability during sawing and helps remove chipping from the cut, giving you a cleaner cut. The most special thing about this tooth is the hollow recess at the front of the tooth. This recess makes the tooth sharper and ensures a smaller contact surface with the material to be sawn.
This shape therefore contributes to the cleanliness of the saw cut and the speed of the workpiece to be sawn.
