It combines the familiar strength of Festool’s Systainer closed-case system with a built-in drawer beneath (a Sortainer-style compartment), allowing you to carry both your tools and smaller accessories in one compact, stackable unit.

Built tough, the COMBI M 287 boasts internal dimensions in the top compartment of about 389 × 287 × 140 mm, and the lower drawer offering space of roughly 343 × 271 × 66 mm. Its external footprint is 396 × 296 mm with a height of 280 mm (or 287 mm with adjustable feet), making it stack-compatible with other Systainer³ and Festool storage modules.
Despite its robust design, it remains manageable with a bare-weight of approximately 4.30 kg; it can carry up to 20 kg in a single unit and up to 40 kg when paired (i.e. connected) in a stack. Even the lid is built tough - permitted to bear up to 100 kg (ideal when used as part of a tower you might need to stand on or lean a work bench against).
Meticulously designed, the COMBI M 287 includes two long partitions and three short partitions so you can divide the lower drawer to suit your needs. Plastic containers are also compatible, allowing small parts such as fasteners or drill bits to be stored tidily and visible at a glance.
