The Dewalt DCS378N 18V XR Brushless Band Saw from ITS is a versatile and flexible yet powerful saw with a large 86mm cutting capacity.
Comfortable to hold thanks to the low over-moulded rear handle as well as offering additional grip and control, the saw includes variable speed control along with variable speed trigger to deliver a premium level of experience.
Along side the speed trigger, which powers the blade up to 171m/min, is a Lock-off button that prevents accidental start up. The front handle offers exceptional ergonomics and thereby enhancing the control of the tool.
To protect the band saw from the rigours of working on site, replaceable bumpers ensure that the tool maintains a long working life. For ease of use, the saw includes heavy duty metal guard clips to allow for easy access to the blade.
An adjustable shoe allows for lining up cuts to specific sizes as well as bright LED work light lets you work to perfection.
At the heart of this band saw is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
