The Dewalt DCS355 18V XR Brushless Multi Tool is part of the popular 18V XR Range and is supplied with 35 accessories.
The DCS355 features Dewalt's QUICK-CHANGE accessory system allowing blades and attachments to be changed quickly without the use of any additional tools. The DUAL-GRIP variable speed trigger allows the ultimate accurate speed and application control. The Multi Tool delivers up to 20,000 oscillations per minute (opm) at a 1.6degree angle.

Extremely useful
I so wish that I'd known about this tool sooner! Already used to cut through some metal banding and some hard to get at wood, and to sand into corners that my circular sander misses. I have other DeWalt kit, and this is another well made quantity tool.

On day one I used this to cut a hole for a cat flap in UPVC door panel and also to sand a sticky under stairs cupboard door. Made quick, easy work of both tasks. Surprisingly easy to control (just make sure to use both hands). Haven’t used to cut wood or metal yet, but as long as you are realistic about the thickness of stock you are cutting I can’t see it having trouble. Still new so can’t speak to longevity, but happy so far. This particular kit from ITS was best bang for buck I found.
