The Dewalt DCF961 18V XR Brushless 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench with Hog Ring from ITS is not only an impressively powerful tool, but is suitable for a large range of industries.
Whether metal fabrication, construction, automotive, or assembly, installation and industrial working, the DCF961 is the one tool you need to have as part of your kit.
With thanks to the brushless motor and improved mechanism, the Impact Wrench delivers an incredible 1626Nm of fastening torque and 2372Nm of breakaway torque. And on top of that, this high torque impact wrench is only 213mm in length meaning that its able to fit into tighter spaces for improved working.
Comfortable to hold as well as control, the impact wrench includes a tactile 4 mode select features that will allow users to choose different operation modes and speed control including a ‘Precision Wrench mode’.
The DCF961 includes a ½” anvil hog ring. The Hog Ring enhances socket retention and allows for the more efficient torque delivery – this means there is no power lost in the transfer to the socket. The hog-ring anvil is great if you need to change sockets without having to press a pin to do so, great if you are switching between two sizes of sockets regularly.
As well as variable speed trigger with up 1200rpm no load speed, the Dewalt DCF961 incorporates a Boost mode - After 4 seconds of impacting, the rpm is increased to deliver more power. This works in both directions but more useful in reverse for removing stubborn nuts/bolts if they haven’t been removed within the first 4 seconds of impacting.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use the impact wrench more efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
