These bits are ideal for the rapid drilling of holes in hardwood, softwood, lumber as well as wood with nails.
The Dewalt Extreme Tri Flute 152mm Auger Drill Bits are a selection of drill bits specifically for drilling larger holes in wood.
Each drill bit, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm x 150mm, has three cutting edges that allow for up to six times faster cutting action compared to standard flat bits.. This, along with the tri-flute design, delivers impressive and optimal cutting action along with impressive chip removal.
The three cutting spurs deliver a cleaner, faster hole cutting action along with an extended drilling life. The tapered design allows for a faster removal of chips and debris – this results in less binding delivering premium results.
The quick-change shank fits standard Quick-Change extensions and 1/4" / 6mm hex bit adapters and excels at preventing spinning.
