Black & Decker WM536-XJ Dual Height Workmate

I bought one of these nearly 40 years ago! I decided to replace it with this one, still great build quality and value for money all these years on. Feels solid and everything works as it should, I think I may not see another 40 years but I reckon this will, this day and age it is rare to find a product that is as good as the original, well worth the small outlay if your a DIY person.

This is a god send. I’ve been chopping wood propped on a wheelbarrow, this has made things so easy and safe!! Easy to assemble. Perfect

Brilliant dual height workmate. Excellent value for money. Arrived the next day and was very quick and simple to assemble. Perfect for my joinery and woodworking jobs. Highly recommended.

This is a second workmate that I've bought after the first one had given many years of good service. Neat, robust and easily stored it's a good design. The worktops could be made of a better material (the reason for the new one) but otherwise no complaints at all.

I'd been looking for a light, quality workbench for a while; this dual height B&D caught my eye and was at a great price with ITS. The assembly is not as bad as folk make out; YouTube makes it even easier. I'd not used ITS before but their business processes and delivery were great - it arrived on-time and as Ordered. Will definitely use ITS again.

My dad had one of these and now i have one...can't be without it..!!!

Does exactly what it says on the description. Perfect height and very sturdy.

Assembly was fairly straight forward, although as others have commented, the exploded diagram instructions could be improved upon! The bench is robust and well made with no sharp edges to the metal frame that I could find. It is well balanced, folding compactly for storage and transportation. I bought this to replace an old 'cheapo' work bench that had seen better days. For basic DIY this Black & Decker will do nicely. The foot pad will alow me to steady the bench when needed. I am looking forward to using it!
