2" Jack plane manufactured to uncompromisingly high standards, suitable for both hard and soft woods.
Supplied with a tungsten vanadium cutter blade, accurately machined blade setting with full adjustments.
Selected hardwood handle and knob, cast iron base frog and lever cap, traditional brass adjusting nut.
Jack planes are used for the preliminary squaring of rough timber, and are the general workhorses for stock removal.
Designed for the initial preparation of rough timber the long base bridging undulations which a shorter plane would tend to follow.
