The Makita RT0702CX4 ¼” Router Trimmer is a 6mm (1/4”), 8mm (3/8”) 710W Variable Speed Trimmer with an anti-restart function.

This impressively compact yet powerful router/trimmer not only has variable speed control, but also offers constant speed control and anti-restart function to protect when not in use.

The router has a rocker-type on/off switch along with soft start for precision control.  This is further supported by a precision cutting depth adjustment.

With double insulation circuitry, the router/trimmer also has an efficient dust collection system to ensure your work area stays clean and you are able to maintain a clear line of sight to the material you are working on.

Along with a simple yet efficient base locking system, the RT0702CX4 Router/Trimmer delivers a maximum plunge capacity of up to 40mm in trimmer settings or 35mm in plunge setting.  The low vibration device’s motor produces an impressive no load speed of 10,000-34,000rpm.
