The Makita RP1803 ½” Plunge Router is a powerful, 1650W electric machine with soft start.
This compact machine includes trigger switch, lock on/lock-off switch as well as constant speed control. For your convenience, the Router has an anti-restart function as well as variable speed control dial.
The router is double insulated and allows for finer adjustments of the plunge stroke. With an 8mm collet cone, the router also includes a rigid aluminium bracket and shaft lock mechanism.
The maximum plunge capacity of the router is 70mm, while it operates a no load speed of up to 22,000rpm. A stopper block enables to obtain 3 different cutting depths.
Dust and debris are collected efficiently and the router can be connected directly to a dust extractor to ensure your work space is clear and you maintain a visual on your surface.
To add to its versatility, the router features an easy to read cutting depth scale and can even be placed upside down.
