Good and solid.
PROS: The build quality is good as I would expect from Makita, it feels solid and well put together. I find the paddle switch easier to use than a slide switch as it is comfortable and gives more control of the grinder. The two stage activation stops accidental use when handling the grinder and you soon get used to it. CONS: Be aware the tool-less guard change is a little fiddly at first and means I couldn't use existing guards from another angle grinder. I had to buy a specific dust extractor attachment, which I wasn't expecting and was expensive, but worked well.
