It functions well but not designed very well for installation. The led strip is central which means the knockout for cable in the back is off centre and generally most cables come out the centre of a doorway meaning the light will be off centre. Also the push in connectors are next to useless, I tryed putting 2 x 1.5mm cables in and they just keep pulling out
