Hitachi have put a lot of effort into making sure that this model out performs all their previous SDS's, and that is highlighted by the fact this the DH28PX can deliver 30% faster drilling than its predessesor. They've also improved the vibration control by redesigning the mouldings and the handle.
For an SDS+ of this class the DH28PX is surprisingly small and lightweight, at just 2.9Kg which reduces any fatigue or stress that comes from working with an SDS on site throughout the day.
