Dewalt DCMPH566N 18V XR Pole Hedge Trimmer 25mm Gap - Body

Very good upto 3m particularly with 54v battery. Would be nice if it was extendable.

This was my first purchase from ITS and I was very impressed. Great communications from ITS and they use a proper courier and you get a proper invoice! The DeWalt hedge cutter is up to the usual DeWalt standard although it is quite ‘front-heavy’ in use. The cutters seem well engineered and the coupling for the split pole seems strong - time will tell!

The Dewalt Long reach hedge trimmer . Fabulous , cuts really well and of the right length To cut my high Beech hedge especially to take off top clippings, it also saves buying different batteries, so use it in conjunction with the smaller Dewalt DCM 563 hedge cutter, ???

Same body as the pole cutter but I couldn’t find how to just buy the attachment. It’s a bit wobbly and less rigid than I expected but should do the job

Go bit of the kit for the price, if you already have batteries, the head is a bit wobbly when locked but no big deal. Good for trims, instant start, no messing about with petrol

What an amazing bit of kit. The best hedge trimmer I’ve ever had by far. I love the fact that for most of my hedges I now don't need to use any steps. This speeds up the hedge cutting job a lot. The Dewalt hedge trimmer is as good as any petrol or mains powered trimmer. If you want to cut a hedge just buy one of these and you will have the best of the best. Surprised how good it is at cutting and pruning. Lightweight and very sharp saves on climbing ladders to reach top of hedges and tall branches and saves on you bending down to cut bottom of hedges and bushes. More surprised how long battery lasts when using it. Very happy with it.

Bought thi to replace the DCM563. While the extension makes ir heavier to use, not having to stretch actually makes it much easier to get hedge tops trimmed. I can now trim 8 and 9 foot hedges without having to bring out ladders. Lower parts of hedges are easy to tackle at arms length, so this is the only hedge trimmer I need.

Lightweight and very easy to use. Runs forever on a 54V battery.

The De Walt hedge trimmer sets up very easily and is easy to use. The angle adjustment for the blade is easy to use, it would be even better if it had a rotation option. The cutting blade was very effective, but at long reach would struggle to cut through thicker stems.

Good quality pole hedge clippers. I already had DeWalt batteries so it was good to be able to buy the tool alone. They cut well. The only drawback with all electric cutters is that the weight of the motor is close to the blades rather than at the handle end. This makes it a bit harder to balance. For low jobs I’m going to see if I can move the bracket for the harness a bit further up the pole. I got about one hours pretty constant use from a fully charged 5 Amp battery, which is quite a lot of hedge and enough for me to need a rest, so pretty good for our large garden, especially as I have two batteries.

Really good additional to my dewalt eco system. Just plug in my current 18v 5amp batteries and away it goes. Simple set up and works really well.

Very good tool plenty of adjustments and height for those hard to reach areas. Highly recommended.

I thought it would not cut through an old Holly Bush and expected to have to use my scuteres , but it cut all thich branches and with useful cutting angles it was made the job easy.

Service and delivery from ITS was second to none and I’ll definitely use them in future. The hedge trimmer is a little cumbersome when cutting at medium height, but excelled when used for its main purpose at height. An improvement would have been to be able to remove the pole when not required.
