The BHP451RFE 18V Lithium-ion 3 speed cordless hammer drill/driver features high operation efficiency with high 80Nm max torque with 16 position adjustable torque control for uniform results and optimized precision, 3 speed/variable speed metal gearbox including reverse and hammer action, 13mm keyless heavy duty metal chuck, drilling up to 16mm into masonry, 13mm into steel and 65mm into wood making it ideal for use in a variety of materials.
It also has twin LED job light with Afterglow for use in low visibility applications together with a 4 pole motor, conveniently located push button for forward and reverse.
The well balanced, lightweight 2.2kg design of the BHP451RFE makes transportation around the worksite easy without compromising on power, whilst the ergonomic soft grip handle provides maximum user comfort reducing fatigue on prolonged use and providing greater tool control.
The BHP451RFE is supplied with 2 x 3.0Ah Lithium-ion batteries, 22 minute charger and stackable carry case.
The Makita BHP451RFE uses Lithium-ion battery technology which has a number of advantages, the batteries have no memory effect allowing them to be recharged before they are completely discharged. Up to 40% lighter than a NICD or NIMH battery, Lithium-ion batteries have a 22 minute charge time with air cooled Makstar Optimum Charging System together with a greater life span giving 430% greater run time providing increased productivity.
