They are now made of premium M42 high speed steel cutting edge and have patent pending tooth set design which doubles the life of the old hole saws.
49mm (1-15/16”) Cutting depth. Side slot for increased leverage for fast, easy slug removal.
Durable .050” side wall prevents collapsing. Cap reduces run out and vibration. External coating reduces side wall friction for efficient cutting.
External tests prove that the RIDGID Bi-Metal Hole Saws cut faster than similar top 5 competitor hole saws, 39% in 16G 304 Stainless steel, 10% in 1/2" OSB Wood & 12% in 1/4" Mild steel plate.
Electrician's kit contains a selection of RIDGID hole saws and hole saw arbors for cutting through wood, plastic, machinable metals, stainless steel alloys, nail-embedded wood cutting.
