Warehouse Operative - Full Time

Our distribution centre is based in Harlow and has great facilities and parking. Dedicated and hard-working, our warehouse team are the backbone of ITS. Whether ensuring all of our customer orders are dispatched on time, processing the thousands of products we receive every day or making sure our stock is accurate our warehouse team do it with a smile!

We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Warehouse Operative

The Role:

  • Ensure customers' orders are picked and packed accurately and efficiently.
  • Picking stock for transfers to our retail stores.
  • Receipting deliveries at Goods In, ensuring their accuracy and condition.
  • Locating deliveries into the warehouse.
  • Processing internal stock movement in "Bulk to Pick" replenishments.
  • Stock taking and assisting in the resolution of stock discrepancies.

*The warehouse is 152,000 sq tt so the role will involve a lot of walking and will require the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.

Salary:

£10.30 - £12.30 per hour

Hours:

Working a variable 5-day shift. Monday to Sunday shifts within the hours of 7:45am – 20:00.

JOB ROLE

Power Tool Accessories - Buyer

  • Creation and maintenance of the buying matrices for your category.
  • Research new brands/products and negotiate the best prices, promotions and rebate packages to maintain a competitive position in the market.
  • To attend trade shows and conferences both in the UK and abroad, actively taking the lead in supplier meetings as required.
  • Ensure all margin targets are achieved for your category.
  • To be responsible for placing, forecasting and scheduling purchase orders.
  • Consider stock holdings, sales and promotions, capacity and lead times.
  • To maximising product performance using necessary reporting methods.
